There are a great number of books on Meditation and Yoga available. Many are superficial and/or relate to the difficult poses of Hatha Yoga.
However, some books present a more scholarly approach. One may find dissertations on the true science and art of meditation, and texts that set forth the principles of Raja Yoga.

It can be of value to the beginner, but even the advanced mystic might find a few techniques and hints to fortify his or her practical experience.
